Tiny Reads is a reading app designed for short educational articles. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information We Collect
Tiny Reads does not ask you to create an account with your name, email address, or phone number for normal use.
The app may create an anonymous Firebase user identifier. This identifier helps the app work reliably with Firebase services and does not directly identify you by name.
The app stores reading-related information on your device, such as selected categories, selected language, theme preference, saved cards, dismissed cards, and read cards.
Firebase Services
Tiny Reads uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Firebase Analytics, to provide app functionality, content delivery, and anonymous usage analytics.
Public reading content is loaded from Firestore. Firebase may process technical information necessary to provide these services, such as device, app, and connection information.
Local Data
Reading interactions and preferences may be stored locally on your device using Apple system storage technologies such as UserDefaults and Core Data.
This local data is used to personalize the reading experience, restore your selected categories, and avoid showing the same cards repeatedly.
In-App Purchases
Tiny Reads offers optional in-app purchases, including tips to support the developer and category expansion packs. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit — Tiny Reads never receives or stores your payment card details.
To determine which content you have unlocked, the app stores your purchase/entitlement status using Apple's StoreKit APIs. This information is used solely to provide the purchased content and is not shared with third parties.
Analytics and Advertising
Tiny Reads does not sell your personal data. Tiny Reads does not use third-party advertising and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Tiny Reads uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the reading experience. For example, the app may collect usage events such as opening the app, reading a card, completing a category, selected language, or general interaction with app features.
Analytics data is used in aggregated form and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data Sharing
Tiny Reads does not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data may be processed by service providers such as Firebase only as needed to operate the app.
Children's Privacy
Tiny Reads is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
